AIM for STEM Careers Program Sessions

Program sessions will take place on Friday in Room 202 Duncan Science Building. The dates for AIM for STEM Careers (2016-2017) will be: October 14, October 28, November 4, November 11, November 18, February 10, February 24, March 17, March 24, April 7, April 21. Again, all AIM for STEM Careers program sessions will take place on Friday from 4:00pm - 5:30pm in Room 202 Duncan Science Building.

Cover Letter and Resume

AIM for STEM Careers participants learn how to develop a cover letter and a resume for STEM jobs.

STEM Job Interview and STEM Career Counseling

AIM for STEM Careers participants participate in mock STEM job interviews and receive interview instruction by STEM professionals, faculty, human resource personnel, and career services professionals. AIM for STEM Careers participants will also receive individualized STEM career counseling.

STEM Job Search and Job Offer Negotiation

AIM for STEM Careers participants learn how to search for STEM job opportunities as well as successfully negotiate a STEM job offer.

Career Assessment

AIM for STEM Careers participants complete career assessments designed to enhance their understanding of their career interests as well as to inform the career counseling component of the program.

AIM for STEM Careers HBCU Alumni Project

AIM for STEM Careers participants have the opportunity to learn from and receive professional mentoring from Livingstone College alumni and other professionals who are currently in the STEM workforce.
